When Peggy went full-on Gus Hedges with her don't mind me, I'm not
really here assurances I felt certain the decision had already been
made. Fortunately the people in the interview room proved not to be as
cynical as me.

From spoilers in the Radio Times for next week I have a horrible
feeling Kate let Kirsty have it and i now going to engineeer an event
that Kirsty can't handle so they will turn to her after Kirsty resigns
in disgrace.

I have to say that my response was "Who are you and what have you done

Hm, I think that particular spoiler is far too soon to be anything to do
with Kate.

Having then wandered on to the following week (on Digiguide) my worries are
for someone else entirely. All sounding potentially melodramatic - I hope
it isn't.

Mine was a cross between "what's she plotting?" and "surely Peggy should
know her well enough to not be taken in by her apparent giving up
without a fight" (especially if it gains brownie points with you).
