His sister Sarah is letting me have the details. It’s on 30th March in
Cambridge. Sadly, I won’t be going. Our Claire is having her first ever
birthday party on the 3rd April and I can’t miss this so am keeping as safe
as I can for the previous ten days. I have let Sarah know this but if
anyone would like to, please do go for us.

I haven't been keeping up with umra recently, so I'd missed this news. How terribly, terribly sad. My condolences to all who loved him.

He was a prolific voice in what I consider to be my formative years on umra.. There's little I can say that hasn't already been said, except that I thought of him so highly that I was extremely eager to earn his affirmation.
