:o) The nurses have been fab throughout, so no need to worry - but I
appreciate the thought, Kate.

Long day of tests at the hospital tomorrow, and then next steps may be a
little clearer...

Long day? You'll be needing your urology department hospital playlist
then. Or to put it another way, if I have now got an earworm of
Crowded House singing "There is tubing within, there is drainage
without, try and catch the deluge in a paper cup" I don't see why
others shouldn't suffer as well.

So, to start the Urology Department Hospital Playlist

Water Loo, Abba
If you've got to go, his Bobness
Block buster The Sweet
Yellow is the colour Donovan

But top of my list, from his first album, The Paul Simon Song Book...
Catheter's song.

Nick
(It goes without saying that as well as a rubbish playlist I send you
all my best wishes.
Though now I've said it, it doesn't go without saying.)

A couple of pre-departure additions include some tracks by the Black
Eyed Pees and Fingers And Bums - Erasure[1]

[1]I was hoping that Blossom DRE may have recorded this, but she didn't.

Back home and feeling somewhat jaded, but delighted to be able to
include that old James Brown favourite, Papa Ain't Got A Brand New Bag.

They seem not wrong. An illustration at
<https://www.gutenberg.org/files/61854/61854-h/61854-h.htm> shows "THE
RUNAWAY EQUATOR" followed by
"And the Strange Adventures of a Little Boy in Pursuit of It". Do we
call the latter bit a subtitle?

Well, it was - for about three hours. I was guilty of premature
felicitation; it All Went Horribly Wrong again, I was back in A&E by
early evening and was finally sent home again at midnight.[1] I'm sorry
to say that I do have a brand new bag. Nugger.

[1]I will spare you the grisly, blood-infused details. Suffice it to
say that I have had *much* better days.

Well, following yesterday's frolicsome shenanigans I have made a couple
of additions to the playlist:
Red, Red Wee - UB40
and Bob Dylan's album, Blood On The Keks.

Oh, come on! We've had worse. Mainly from me, I admit, but we've
definitely had worse.
