What a piece of work Alice is! She doesn't want Chris but no-one else can have him. And it was just a drunken mistake when she tried to seduce Carpet Burns a few months ago, so that's okay?

No I disagree. Chris did go round hoping Alice was drunk and then
hoping she was jealous and upset. When she was calm he prodded to see
why. She called it. And how come if Amy was that worried about Alice
it took her all night to find someone to check on her. She didn't go
to Chris for that, she went for another quickie.Or she would have told
her father or Jenny.

Me or David? I'm not. I did have a good night for once though so am
cheerful this morning.

And I liked last night's episode about the rewilding. The chat betwen
Tony and Brian seemed to me as if the SWs had beenchecking here and
news groups and gathered together threads of things we felt were
missing and popped them into that conversation.

The chat about which pig is good for rewilding, the pros and con of
rewilding, Brian, surprisingly agreeing it was good in some ways, Tony
that it had to be carefully arranged as we need food, Brian
acknowledging that Tony was way ahead of the Greens with his organic
farm, then both saying Chris surely could be excused in a way for
having sausaging as he was not really married now. And then we got
Freddy, Lily and Russ and a new mystery too!

I still do not understand. Rex has 400 acres to rewild and pigs that
run around in the wild at Lower Loxley. Why on earth did he need a home
for them at LL when he has 400 acres, some of which must be good for
piggies rootling around in the undergrowth?

Does anyone actually think about the stories they write or do they have
a good idea and write about to the exclusion of everything else which is
happening?

Isn't it a matter of scale?
If the pin is a normal, flat-headed sewing pin and you are counting the
number of angels dancing upon it, they must be extremely small. Line
dancing probably requires less space than a waltz, a square dance, or one
of those with two static lines facing each other with the dancers careering
down the middle. Angels can fly (why else would they have wings?), so if at
least some of them are airborne are they still considered to be _on_ the
pin?

If the head of the pin is spherical, maybe it's a spiral conga line,
spiralling around the globe...

Is that a Flat Earth* thing?

*I still feel sorry for the girl in my 1st year Geography class who, when
we were discussing the globe, decided to tell us her religion said the
world was flat. She had only seemed a bit odd up to that point because
she'd never had her hair cut.

It goes back at least as far a Thomas Aquinas though I'm not sure
whether the Flat Earth was a "thing" then or at any other time. I may
have been exaggerating a little bit about the burnings.
