2021, in a nutshell.

10,610 miles [1], 5,077 HD; 5,533 Wing

10,610 in UK, 0 in Europe [2]

8,009 doing the RBR [3,4]

The balance? Pretty much going to Sainsbury's.

Biggest daily run?

To St Helens Municipal cemetery, and back.
Visited my grandfather's (recently discovered) grave on the 100th
anniversary of his death.

559 mile round trip.

The pair have now done 82,208 miles under me. (45,950 and 36,258)
35,361 on the RBR, 30,080 sur le continent, and 16,767 on "other
duties".

Fuel consumption; 47.0, 45.3 mpg.
Pretty much unchanged since last year.

[1] 290 more than last year
[2] Brexit windfall #3987563
[3] 100% all rounder. Third in a row.
[4] Including a socially distanced beer with Darren Robinson and his
missus, and a socially distance coffee with Colin and Pat.

I think my mileage on a road bike is a big fat 0.

Maybe about 20 miles on hillclimbs

What we need is an NHCA times database with a 'Hill' table including a

I did some basic aggregate stats for 2021 a while ago. <searches>

Total number of runs: 5162
Total number of run seconds: 228318 (63.4 hours)
Fastest launch time: 1.48 secs (Peter Short, Wiscombe 26th Sept)
Total number of red flags (approx): 56

Consensus is the launch time isn't accurate.

That does seem something of an outlier. I did once manage to get under
