My car, which is a red Honda Civic, is according to Service NSW is a
"RED HONDA CIVIC".

Let's say I got the car spray painted to a different colour:

Would I have to tell Service NSW about the change in colour?

And would they have to inspect the car to confirm its colour, in order
to update their records?

So you are saying I could have a white car and Service NSW would think
it's red?

Relying on legal information from usenet posters could get you deeply in
the shit.

does when they change the audio system etc.
