are in for a world of trouble after the Federal Govt mandated Covid
vaccinations for all airline staff, it seems that they aren't so much
opposed to being vaccinated but they aren't happy with the way it is to
be implemented.
Covid already caused a US wide pilot shortage and now its about to get a

But this idea has got to take the fucking cake.

Seems they want to fly the infamous MAX *between regional airports* only.
The MAX needs an 8000 ft runway for take offs - most are not that long.

To make a financial go of it planes will have to be 90%+ full of pax every time.
This means pax must book well ahead and be prepared for cancellations.

But the planes must not just sit on the ground either, they need to do as many trips per day as possible.
The plan must be to replace many existing, mainly turbo prop trips, with a few point to point MAX trips.
