One detail Schroedinger overlooked was that observation by senses
other than sight is possible and in order to prevent observation by odour
of prdure the bos must be airtight which guarantees the state of the cat
after a certain elapsed time.

Probably what Schrodinger overlooked(Was it Schrodinger who actually proposed the experiment?)was the fact that you can't compare the macro and micro scopic worlds.
