Do rats know of David Gibbins' series of fantasy archaeology novels? I have read three (Atlantis, Mask of Troy and Crusaders' Gold) and there are many more. He seems to have written the same novel many times; underwater archaeology, fantasy archaeology (e.g. reading Linear A), neo nazi plots and so on.
I do not really recommend them, but rats could buy them for a few pence in a charity shop and redonate.
