Oh that's so sad. There's been something of a spate of deniers &
antivaxxers dyong of it, and generally it's no loss to the world, but
sometimes you wish you could have shaken people by the shoulders and
drummed some sense into them.

Talking of which, just had a booster shot (Modena) yesterday - spent
much of the night shivering, sweating or boiling, sometimes all
together, and my arm hurts like hell. Much worse than the previous
two.

Worth it though. I know I've been exposed, when my wife was ill and
tested positive for a week or more, but the vaccine has clearly worked
well enough for me.

I've been really lucky. Very slight headache (which was more than likely
just a very slight headache) from the first vaccine. Nothing for the
following two. I even had the flu jab at the same time as the booster.

Lots of people at work have been knocked out either by the original two
jabs and/or the booster.

Daughter came out with quite severe rash/hives about a week after the
booster, not unknown apparently.

He wasn't a denier. Not sure about anti-vax, he was anti-mandated-vax.
He's been quoted in several places as being anti-mask, but I think it's
only the Torygraph that also quotes him saying "The only good masks are
N95" while railing about the paper masks. So I think it's a bit more
nuanced than the haters are making out.

I think I've only seen Meat Loaf live once. Knebworth '85 supporting
Deep Purple.

Bottled off then as well, though on that occasion I think he was very

That Moderna vaccine, "may experience mild flu-like symptoms", mild my
winnet ridden arse. Spent all day in bed. Fine the next day though!

Yeah, yesterday was mostly in, or on, bed. Thankfully no changeovers.
Went skiing today, despite continuing aches, feel better for the
exercise. Still gonna take some paracetamol to reduce the chanes of
waking up in sweat-soaked bedding at eeek am like last night.
