We did. Adil is not actually the new partner, just going to manage GG
for them. I wondr who the actual partner is. Presumably not Vince. Not
his kind of thing and he is already throwing his money at David and
perhaps Freddie. Will Justin go for GG if he is pulling out of BL?

Kathy is 69. If the hotel is about to close for a year then this could
well be a good time for her to retire. If she did decide that now was
the time to give up work, might she not move to Hereford to be near Jamie?

Although Kathy does not appear in the cast list, she could well be
around for the next couple of weeks, but I suspect not much longer than
that.

Didn't somebody say, a few months back, that there was talk of getting
Kathy back for a proper farewell story? This has the feel of such a
story, but if she doesn't even get a mention in the cast list I'm not
sure how satisfactory that would be for Hedli Niklaus.

Somehow is that too remote? I'm wondering if the SWs keep enough back
stories in their heads for it to be her. Or ..she seemed not that well
off as not staying somewhere better than the flat over the shop. Did

I know that if ‘Orrible ‘Azel did want to buy up Gay Grables, we would be
subjected to an excruciating story about how she was doing it for her
wonderful Dad (for whom she did not really give even a picojot - though she
would always play the sympathy card for every last picodrop she could milk
from it) and that all the people in this Godforsaken hole of a village did
not deserve it at all but that she would be offering lots of jobs and that
they should be very grateful to her for saving them from the ‘Slough of
despond’ (or even ‘dis pond’- with or without ducks). Having laid out the
bare bones of the worst nightmare possible, let’s all calm down and hope to
goodness knows what, that the SW’s. don’t go down that route - but of
course if they want to lose listeners…

Worse nightmare would be Rob made his fortune abroad, drugs? guns? and
came back to get revenge this way.

I really feel that the BBC should issue accurate cast lists after the
event. I am surprised that this is not written into their contracts.
