Not really, but even if there is a process, I still think it will be
biased to have double the number of women.

I know if I was on trial for the rape of a woman, I wouldn't be happy
about having so many women on the jury.

Each side can reject a few, based only on how they look- age, gender, clothes & demeanor.

** Juries are never fair, most jurors will decide based on their collective prejudices.
Importantly, if the Judge considers the prosecution case is inadequate for a safe conviction the trial must be dismissed.
Sometimes in a "high profile" case, like this one, the judge is not game to do that because of possible repercussions.
