Two cyclists were involved in separate collisions within hours of each
other on the same spot on Lower Bristol Road.

Both collisions happened outside the Green Park Tavern on Wednesday,
September 6.

The first involved a bicycle and a *mobility scooter* the second a
bicycle and what police described as a “vehicle”.

Neither cyclist was seriously injured, according to police.

A spokesman from Avon and Somerset Police said a male cyclist received
minor injuries when he was involved in a collision with a mobility
scooter on Lower Bristol Road at about 11.30am.

Police are not investigating either incident.
