It's a sad reflection of the state of climate science that she felt
obliged to retire early from her position as chair of the School of
Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology
due to the amount of toxic hate-mail she was receiving. It is no
longer possible to conduct an informed debate on the merits or
otherwise of climate science without being vilified.

She presently runs the blog Climate Etc, a web site rich in
well-researched articles on climate science that are excluded from
publication in the mainstream climate journals because they don't

To judge by the amount of vilification aimed at her, Judith Curry must
clearly be in the right.

Whatever group lies behind the GW scam, they must be quite powerful to be

What on earth are you on about?
There are for sure many powerful interests behind the GW narrative.
None of who are actually interested in atmospheric carbon reduction,
just more centralisation of power, and more profit.

Not really. Since the vast bulk of those involved are govt
employees or close, it isnt hard to do that with those.

And also behind deniers too. It's hardly in the oil companies interests
to stop oil exploration.

Remind us, how do we spend on oil each year? Is that a powerful interest?
