MAN ARRESTED.

A FRESH appeal for information has been made following a collision which left a motorbike passenger and six-year-old cyclist in hospital.

The collision involved a motorbike, a six-year-old child on a bicycle and a parked vehicle.

It happened in Premier Road, Middlesbrough at about 5.25pm on Wednesday (April 6).

A motorbike was involved in a collision with a six-year-old child riding a pedal cycle and a further collision with a parked vehicle.

The 11-year-old passenger of the motorbike sustained serious injuries and is receiving hospital treatment.

The six-year-old cyclist is also receiving hospital treatment.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences. He has been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.

Officers investigating the incident say they are grateful to those who have assisted so far. They are keen to speak to the driver of a white hatchback who they believe may have witnessed the collision.
