My old early 2015 MBAir is on Monteray. I am updating to 12.3.1 right
now. Its been going for more than an hour, when the "timer" ticked over
from 20 minutes left - to 15 minutes left...

Is this "normal" for an "older" device !?

Every other device is connecting and downloading from the Net as usual.

Dont know if this is related and worrying, but when I switched it on
this morning I had a black screen for 2-3 minutes before the logon
option appeared.

Should I worry and will that help :-)

And I thought a Monterey update on my 2017 MBA was slow! Still, persistence
