So.....

I'm here drinking a mug of Heinz Tomato Cup-a-Soup, and musing about the
price of the Aldi equivalent - but the last trip saw the shelves empty
of that.

However, I saw cheaper tomato juice on sale - and then a brainwave
struck and I'm now gurgling for Soup recipes...

And then found apparently it's a thing in Mexico and Canada to mix Beer
and Tomato Juice.

I've previously been caught with a slice of orange in my beer, so I have
to try this?

Erm... in the spirit of HHGTTG and the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster

Apologies if I'm slow on the uptake but are you in or on your way to
or from Calgary? Give my regards to the dear old place if you are. I
visited quite often when son lived there and spent some times in the
company of the late and very much missed Mudge, the Canadian
Curmudgeon - mentioned only a couple of days ago by Don.

Mudge was something else . he joined the hofstadter group and kept saying that he didn't believe Hofstadter existed . I told him Brian go to wiki and check it out at which point he did believe . Hated to see him close his door.

I'm sure he didn't close his door, it should read "hated to see his door closed."

Mudge was very, very ill. Last time I saw him he could only move to
the extent of his oxygen tube.

Since 2016, Canada has had the MAID Act and that "maid" his passing
easier.
