Had my top-up jab yesterday. By Jove, I feel rough today. Not to the extent
of calling for medical help, but just under the weather with clogs on.
Anyone else had their 4th jab yet? - How did you feel?

No, I'm not illegible ... not heard anything about whether 50-60 y/o will get
jab or not.

SWMBO is just under 75 (I'm well on the way to 76) so she came with me and
said "there's only a couple on mumfs in it - can I have a jab too please?"
After much good-natured humming and hahing - No. Lucky escape, I reckons.

Nearly 74 year old here.

I had my third jab more than 6 months ago. None of them made me feel
ill.

Until three weeks ago I had been Covid free. Then the maskless ones
struck, now three weeks later I still feel b^&*(y awful. Thanks Boris
for encouraging the spread.

If I become eligible will it have been too late?

After I had my third jab, I had the typical COVID nose and throat so
badly I tested myself. Turned out I was negative, just like all the
others at work who had had the same problems.

Still didn't go to work, though.

I've not been offered the booster booster yet.

I didn't notice any bad effect from any of my flu/cov jabs, other than an ouchy
arm if I slept on it funny.

Me also (being only 72), but I did finally get to give blood yesterday
- which was (sort of) against the rools.

1. 'They' declined to take blood from over 70s during the Time of Covid.

2. 'They' also have an established rule that, if you're over 70 & fail
to give blood for 2 years, then you are no longer eligible.

Someone with a bit of sense evidently recognised the problem & made an
exception - but I had to contact them & point out the issue, they didn't
contact me.

If there is anyone here in the same situation, you might want to contact
them - no guarantee that you would get the same answer.

Mine neither as it is cut with rivaroxaban, along with diltiazem
hydrochloride and digoxin, to slow the heart down.

Woke up this morning drenched in sweat but feeling OK - all yesterday's

Good to hear.

Let's hope your immune system only went into drive, though. Some of
the Covid-related problems that have been experienced have been
because those people's immune systems haven't known when to back off.

Not related to either of your situations, but I've found with the blood
service you can ask the same:

"I'm taking _this_ and _this_ medication - can I still give blood?"

Then three people might give you four different answers.

I used to take a certain drug, very occasionally - and they said they
couldn't use me any more.
A co-worker took exactly the same medication, same dosage, but _every
day_ and she was fine - no problem.

Great.
Now you know that the vaccine, and your immune system, did exactly what
they are supposed to do.

You're good to go (whatever that means).

After every covid jab (3 so far) I have had 1 day of flu like symptoms,
i.e. all day in bed seating, with extreme fatigue.

When I actually had Covid (delta) between jabs 2 and 3 it was only
marginally worse. Maybe 1.5-2 days of flu like symptoms.

Strange the way it takes people differently. Can’t say I’ve had any
significant reaction to any of my covid jabs.

My first two neither hurt nor leaked, and there were no noticeable effects.

Two days after the booster, I got the COVID symptoms so badly, I
actually scrounged a test kit, which came back negative. They went away
after a week.

All my jabs were at ~1200

Jab 1, fine until ~2330, then I started to feel very cold, and was
shivering rather vigorously. That lasted for about 30 minutes. The
following day I was a bit below par, but otherwise OK

Jab 2, no problem at all.

Jab 3, fine up until late evening, then started to feel below par. The
following day, I was tempted to stay in bed, but didn't. By tea time I
was feeling OK again.

Apart from feeling like someone had used a centre punch on my upper
arm they were fine for me too - the centre punched spot is still a little
tender months later TAAAW.

I had no reactions to the 2 AZ jabs; I put it down to a) not wjbexing or b) I'd already had covid before LFT tests were even heard of.

The pfizer one worked though, I felt rough for a day.

My SO has had terrible sneezes, aches & a headache but no cough for the past 3 days - negative test each day til today's positive.

So update your symptoms list.
