driving. Most people would run out of hands before they got to 3, but
there's been centuries of in-breeding in Norfolk.

Hence the medical abbreviation "NFN" in medical notes: "[this patient's
condition is very odd, but it's] Normal For Norfolk" ;-)

Round here, the medics use the abbreviation "E6", as E6 is the postcode
for Barking. :)

A couple of years ago, a fire engine managed to turn over on a local
roundabout. The driver had to go on a course.

"Norwich 17 A11". That would put the roundabout not too far from
Attleborough.

It's clearly the roundabout at 52.49652, 0.98129. The signage on the lead up
to the roundabout, plus the buildings at right at the roundabout (the
Breckland Lodge) all match.

Thanks for the confirmation. I don't know the area and couldn't read the
approach signage as it was too blurred. The roundabout exit sign was,
however, fairly clear.

Very good scones in the Breckland Lodge. And, nice clean loos. We stop
there quite often, on the way to the seaside.
