homes, have gold plated final salary pension schemes, those that went to
university had student grants....

Todays generation nopw have student debt/loans, cannot save up a big
enough house deposit or even afford a mortgage, end up in rentsville,
and they now have inferior money purchase pension schemes....

I would argue that the latter need a bit more support to enough what
their older peers have enjoyed.

well I went in for the first time yesterday they gave me it but they
also gave me a card and info on how to get the app....

No-one *has* to go to university, I didn't.

Many *old* people have never owned their home and don't have a private
pension.

On the other hand most of today's generation are earning the minimum
wage or more which is much greater than the state pension.
