He found a small polyp, and whipped it out for biopsy. But the real purpose
was to check on some old radiation burns from radiotherapy - they haven't
changed in 15 years so he doesn't want to see me again. And I'm happy with
that. I have enough trouble with opthalmology consultants obsessed with
staring into my eyes: that'll be Wednesday's fun.

Many thanks for the offer, but I has headphones of a sort - folding Sony
ones on a short leash: OK for trashystuff, but they sit *on* the ears
rather than *over* them like my decent Sennheisers, which some kind but

I tend to listen to Church Choral, with a tendency to 'ancient' - Tudor
to early Victoriana, performed by cathedral or college choirs for
preference. Stuff like the Miserere by Gregorio Allegri, jbex by
Purcell, Gibbons, Bach, Vierne, Oystermayre, Corelli, Mendelssohn,
Gibbons, Nares, Farnaby, to name a few.
