like Irish Ferries? They put all of their ships under the same flags of
convenience in Cyprus or the Bahamas in 2005, so they could hire agency
crew. They used the same methodology to inform staff.

I abhor these business practices but anyone thinking that P&O have set a
precedent in shipping is misguided. If P&O does cease to exist, any
alternative operator will most likely use ships registered elsewhere and
hire workers from the same or similar agency.
