Hard to call it this year.

It's either going to be a landslide swing to Labour, if people are voting to express displeasure at tory scum, or the scum won't do half as badly as might be expected given Starmer is as dull as dishwater, is as undesirable as farting and following through, has lost more votes from the left than he has likely gained in becoming the tory-lite party.

As it's only local elections I suspect people might feel safer voting against tory scum while knowing Starmer won't be running the show.

I guess we'll know by tomorrow evening.

I ultimately managed to avoid disenfranchisement by getting a postal vote, and then decided to maximise the cost of this government's nonsense by taking it to my polling station, filling it in, then handing it over.

It was even more enjoyable than usual; needing no ID and I didn't even need to tell them my name.

Next time I think I'm going to collect friends' postal votes then hand them in one at a time, every half hour or so, see how they cope with that. I can keep pretending to fill mine in and hand over someone else's, repeat and rinse :-)
