Another scum does a runner after killing somebody.

Police are looking for a cyclist who may have seen a fatal collision that happened in Cheltenham.

The crash involved a 77-year-old pedestrian and a blue Tesla on Sunday, March 21.

Paramedics rushed to the scene of the incident which occurred at around 11am in the areas of College Road and London Road.

The 77-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in the "non-stop" collision and was air lifted to hospital.

She died in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital a month later.

Gloucestershire Police are now looking for a cyclist who may have witnessed the crash.
In an appeal they said: "Following an appeal last month, officers would now like to speak to a pedal cyclist, wearing a red top, who is believed to have initially stopped at the scene.

"They also want to talk to any other witnesses who they have not already spoken to or who has dashcam footage of the collision."

The report says that the police are seeking a cyclist who may have
witnessed the fatal collision (whatever "witnessed" may mean).

There is no report of the police seeking anyone else, and in particular,
no report of their seeking any other person involved in the collision.
Read it again if you doubt that.

One is therefore left with no alternative to regarding your mention of
"...scum does a runner after killing somebody" as referring to the
cyclist. There's no-one else you could possibly mean.

Your error, though, lies in your use of the word "after". The "scum" is
reported as having done "a runner" about a month before the victim died.
