I can remember much '80s unpleasantness, and hearing that it was all
fine because Saddam Hussein was Our Bastard (and therefore poisongas was
invisible because teeheeweneverlikedthemanyway), I don't remember
hearing that the UK was involved directly. Do proxies count, or did I
miss one ?

1950-whatever, it's probably An Age Thing. I was only little therefore
it's prehistory.

There used to be - maybe still is - a range of them with witty-ish
aphorisms, such as: 'I know I'm right. Don't confuse me with facts.' -

I can see the pissibolity of the Яussian Federation falling apart in the
long term (Not the Summer Term) if members do not wish to be associated
with Putin's attempted land-grab.

'Tis only a "special military operation", so any suggestion that it's a
land-grab would cause bad things to happen to the one who does the
suggesting.

People who do not agree with Putin are not left to decide such things
without an involuntary change of addressn.
