Particularly shocking is this vessel was never put through destructive
testing [or any independent testing at all for that matter] that would
have uncovered any flaws or deficiencies in the design like nothing else
could - One of the chief directors pushed for just such testing, and
type certification, and was fired.

Not really, and you don't actually know what testing it was put through. And it's not clear that destructive testing would have saved them from whatever has happened - we don't even know what has happened.

Titan has been put through her paces in previous dives to visit Titanic and everyone on-board was well aware of the risks involved.

As were the crews of Apollo 1, Challenger and Columbia.

I have posted ample evidence of both, and thats just from what little
has come out so far - As opposed to you, claiming salvaging a vessel at
22k ft would be simple, and random alleged knocks somewhere in the ocean
are proof they are alive and there was no vessel failure.
