Given AstraZeneca vaccine is only 60% effective against Indian Plague it
follows that there will be more hospitalisations, more deaths, than if the
vaccine were as effective as the government is wishing we would believe it
is.

I really don't understand why the Junta is sticking to their line that "the
vaccine is effective" when it's only two-thirds effective. It's as if they
want to deliberately mislead people, are being cavalier with lives and the
risks people are facing.

I suspect part of the reason is, if people were told the truth, they would
demand to know why they are being given an inferior vaccine rather than one
which could actually protect them.

Of course the vaccine they should be getting is more costly, this is a
government which doesn't even care about people's lives, and certainly won't
be inclined to pay more than it can get away with, while pretending they are
protecting people.

The more they spend on public healthcare the less they have as back-handers
for their fat cat mates.
