Arggghh! Ignore my post. Clearly you're continuing the cascade.
What a star.

Makes sense and I also was told there was water lurking under the petrol
in the old days, now with ethanol in the fuel it would only need 2% of
the volume to be water and all the ethanol would drop out I think

I believe that is, or at least was, the case when I last met him in 2020
when he collected another Chinese[1] motorcycle from my local bike shop[2]

> Is that what you meant by 'phase' or am I getting confused?

no, I made an inadvertent pun. He was more rational when he was still a
grocer and bought me beer on his expenses when in Cheltenham. Well, he
seemed rational after 6 pints of Timothy Taylor Landlord[3]. He remained a
bit rational when first in charge of chicken slice sales on forecourts but
went mental after pie sales dropped in 2020. He is now in full, slimy
corproate mode, going against all his inherent petrolhead credentials in
pursuit of shiny coin. I'm sure you know they type from your days in
lalaland.

[1] Benelli 500cc adventure bike - his legs were a bit short and he nearly
fell off pulling away

[2] spa motorcycles, the former Yamaha dealer in Swindon Village

[3] still not enough for me to want to shag him
