Yeah, none of the current events up in the air right now are appropriate
to make jokes about, and I don't care about the football.

Play:
--=--

Hellpoint (Switch) - For just long enough to make sure I'm done with it. I
discovered a secret ability that lets you see invisible platforms, but
almost none of the items that you get out of those otherwise unreachable
areas is at all worth the platforming effort. I should mention that the
parallel universe concept in the game is pretty well realised, in that
you're meant to recognise different enemy placement and map variation just
based on observation. But once you've seen all the different combinations
it's just not worth a third playthrough to see more endings that you
haven't seen before. There is one moral choice thing that I might like to
see in the future, but for now I'm quite burnt out. Still a good game and
my favourite non-Souls Souls game so far, but I have squeezed all of the
entertainment out.

Not God Wars (Vita) - Started it and then had to put it down to do
household chores. Pro-tip: stretch first and hydrate before you spend four
hours pressure-washing the outside of your house.

Want:
--=--

Cotton Reboot and Wonder Boy Asha in Monster World and Darius Burst
Another Chronicle EX+ (Switch/PS4) - So I've just discovered that Inin is
selling directly to Americans via Amazon, which makes my two carefully-
considered Strictly Limited orders a little bit redundant. This'll be a
good way of picking up PS4 versions of all these games for cheap since I
previously elected to get only Switch versions of the two games (and none
of Cotton). Or I could just forget because the gaming ennui has set in
like it always does when I get done with a Souls game.

Bin:
-==-

Nothing game-related. My job is vague and brainy enough that I couldn't
help doing some work on Sunday.

Expenditure:
-----=-----

Balance forward - $1,588

-KKC, who also needs to vacuum.

Nobody does.

Not a lot last week, just a little bit of Nier:Boy-Growed-Up-A-Bit and a
smidge of Beat Saber. PMGs fell through due to bad planning or ill
health in the groups. Not even always mine!

Yoko Taro seems to spend a *lot* of time in this game stabbing Kaine
through the chest, but she gets better. It's probably like fantasy
armour where the smaller it is and the more sideboob, the better the
protective magic works.

To not fade out in the evenings and be unable to play games.

Stupid weak flesh body.

Cheers - Jaimie

Thank you for your input. Now, if you have something
substantive to bring to the discussion, kindly do.
Otherwise, isn't there an eternal flamefest that would
peter out if you won't keep feeding it?

The Pinball Arcade (PS4) - played the AC/DC table some more, it's
pretty good but I don't know if I like it restarting the music each
time a ball drains. Maybe that's just meant to encourage you to be
less crap at it. :-)

Rogue (PDP-11/45) - I was running Unix V7 in SIMH (because why not)
and for some reason wasn't enjoying ed terribly much despite it being
The Standard Text Editor. So looking for vi led me to 2.8BSD, with
binaries suitable for V7 including vi/ex... and also rogue.
Unsurprisingly it was much like the CP/M rogue I'm more familiar with,
until it seized up when I went downstairs on level 3. Oh well.

Nothing.

The token post-70s/80s track on that AC/DC table. Surely a track
destined to only ever be chosen by the random number generator.
