In my win10/64bit computer, by launching QSL I obtain this error
message:
"I failed to load libeay32.dll in my home directory! The error reported
was:"
But no description of error is present and QSL does not start.
Has someone the same error?

I see this quite a lot on my system. I do not have the answer, but after
encountering the error, if I repeatedly start QSL it opens. I don't know
if that is the case for you or not.

I think the thing that bothers me with QSL is that if this is a software
glitch in the program, there is no one around to fix it, as without
Richard, QSL is essentially unmaintained software.

There is the source code, but I understand that this would be a work
very demanding.

Where did you install QSL? Program Files or a separate folder
like C:\Progs\qsl? I installed the latter and have no runtime
problems on W10 21H1, 19043.1288.

I will offer the observation that QSL works best using the mail
services offered by Zax. It does not work well using other
local SMTP servers.

I use the old QS and it works like a champ.
