And what is your strategy for continuing using Remailers? Do you and your friends set some up,
for the next generation of Remailer users, or do you start then to post with your real name via

of nodes, the crew and users are all young and chances are good that until then a couple of nodes
will remain, in case the majority took also the jab.

What I like to tell the a.p.a-s community too, even if I don't have to ...

When they offered in Germany vaccination first, I refused to do that,
because of the vaccine offered, which could have caused problems
in certain cases and waited until other vaccines were available.

When I saw then later that General Nakasone took his dose early
this year, I thought well, If he takes a dose I better take one too.

I fully accept that people do not like to take the jab and that we
have two camps, pro, and con. The only thing which I do not like
is forced vaccination and if people don't follow suit that they
(may) receive consequences. I say that because when I take
the jab I would assume that it will protect me and there is no
law that I have to protect other people if I do not take the jab.

Decades ago AIDS was IMHO somehow similar *and deadly*
and nothing to recommend (testing wise) or to force people
was done.

hide my address within a SURB. Once TLAs get hold of the SURB of
a persona non grata, they're authorized to force remops one by one
to remove their layer of encryption till finally their target is

I think you are wrong with your description. Sphinx is the packet
format used in the Network along with loopix cover traffic. SURBs
are not needed for every use case[1] and it remains to be seen if
SURBs will be bound to the coconut credentials system. If not
then users, same as we had with Mixminion, could use in their
reply block a Mixnym address, a Tor email service address, or
if the format allows a Bitmessage address. Also, when one
runs a mix node, he is not in the same role as a remop. You
do not have the same control of a mix node, as you have
with a classic TypeII Remailer which allows you to monitor
the smtp traffic. Those who can monitor traffic are IMHO
the Gateways, which should be IMHO chosen wisely.

The problem I see with Nym is that you don't have the endpoint
anonymity, which you can have with YAMN or Mixmaster.
I discussed in the past things with the Main Developer, but
I am no longer in contact with him and do not know if this
would later technically possible to implement.

once it works I would set up one and the a.p.a-s community would have
then something like a double-mix, meaning that instead of Tor, users

Yes, I understand. :-) For me, it is also still a great pleasure to
participate in anonymous communities. I may have already
given up, if Zax had not the brilliant idea to invent YAMN, in
Golang.

Well, good question. If you read their website or look around elsewhere
they state Network level privacy (or anonymity) The Nym software
components are more or less in development phase, for you to play
with or if you are a coder to implement stuff and prime time seems to
be 2023. So lot of things can be expected since the Nym community is
growing fast and financially backed up. What will be implemented and
how regarding a solid nym reply functionality I do not know, because
I am more or less a bit out of the loop regarding Nym.

Well, I used them in the past with Mixminion or say used things like
Mixnym. The Mixminion SURBs are IMHO useless if your online
device is compromised, at least I do not remember how to create
them offline and the messages and later inject them on an online
device. The manual IIRC did not talked about this.

Why? I have provided binaries for all platforms and sec3 has
them also IIRC. Sure, if you don't trust them it is very easy
to cross-compile under a Linux system for other Linux systems
or Mac, Windows, etc. Once done you simply copy the binary
to your VPS server's Remailer account and configure the yamn.cfg.
That's all.

If Elvis's package would be an official .dep package, like you
could install from within a running Debian server, as you would
do with other packages via apt then this would be IMHO an
argument to have the same for YAMN.

NYM will probably fail like Mixminion. It is being developed by younger people and today's young have very little attention span. They write one line of code, get bored, start writing about themself on Facebook, go back to playing games, or looking at porn.
