Hey, GOG is giving away another game. Don't they know XMas is over?
Well, nobody tell them and maybe they'll keep throwing out freebies.

In the meantime, you can claim

* Worms Revolution GOLD
https://www.gog.com/en/game/worms_revolution
Sure, it's just another artillery game - one of the oldest genres in
computer game - but it's got the classic Worms theme and style.
Instruct your little squigglies to move and shoot at the other
squigglies with an increasingly bizarre set of weapons. Personally I
always preferred my artillery games to be a bit simpler (I even
registered my copy of "Scorched Earth"!) but that doesn't mean I
didn't enjoy the Worms games. I mean, who doesn't enjoy a game about
calculating arcing trajectories to rain down fiery hell on enemy
annelids? Not anyone I'd want to know, that's for sure. ;-)

You have 72 hours to claim this one, but don't wait that long. Because
everybody should invite some Worms into their life.

The only Worms game I played was Armageddon. It was fun if you had
someone to play it with. Is this game better then Armageddon? Anyone
know?

Honestly, I find all the Worms games pretty interchangable, so I can't
judge, but here is what The Internet has to say on the topic:

On GameFAQs, someone opined:
"Armageddon heads down if you prefere, tons of features, the option to
create more then one team to play in multiplayer, tons of good dlc 4
times the speakbank and 5 costumice options instead of dynamic water,
4 wormtypes and 5 themes." (Swe_Wrestler 10 years ago)

Some random poster on reddit says:
"From a content standpoint, I believe Revolution will offer more, but
I think the gameplay of Armageddon was better, and with weaponry like
the Iron Donkey, and Indian Nuclear Test, can't go wrong with them."

While a post on a Steam forum goes into more detail:
"Most noticeably perhaps that Revolution was designed with modern
audiences and hardware in mind. This means dressing up your worms,
flashier graphics, dynamic physics (water and terrain objects), native
controller support, bigger worms and menus so that you can see what
you're doing when playing from the couch... this resulting in
significantly higher system requirements. WRev also introduces four
different classes of worms that each have their advantages and
shortcomings, but you can ignore them and play with the standard
soldiers in classic mode as well. Armageddon on the other hand
supports more concurrent players, has a few more weapons and
utilities, allows play on bigger terrains, has more flexible scheme
settings and a more active community on both WormNet and across the
various surrounding websites. It also supports a plethora of
third-party modifications that augment these aspects even further.

Out of the less obvious differences, I think I'd probably have to
place WA's pixel-perfect physics engine at the top of the list of its
advantages. With enough practice and skill, even extremely advanced
weapon usage, movement and other maneuvers can be mastered so that one
can reproduce them reliably. The many interactions between worms,
terrain, weapons, objects, fire, water and the ninja rope just really
shine in the game's 2D engine, they're perfectly predictable yet
chaotic and insanely fun to behold at the same time. In WRev, Team17
seem to have intentionally gone for a bit more realism, which
drastically changes the feel of the game for an experienced player.
Its 2.5D models and terrain make it impossible to accurately predict
the results of your actions to the extent that you can (and have to if
you want to play competitively) in WA. And in my opinion at least,
this is the other subtle but important difference between the two
games; there actually are players out there who take playing WA
seriously and it's because of them and the two maintainers from their
ranks (Deadcode and CyberShadow) that the community still is as
vibrant as it is, 14 years after initial release." ( NogardDerNaerok

Finally, TheCursedCrusade.com ranked "Worms Revolution" as 10th best
Worms game, while "Worms: Armageddon" got the cherished #1 spot
