This morning I uninstalled and re-installed Mixmaster. That is why there
is only one key in secring.mix. But previously I had 4 different keys in
there. It was a mess. I think now with just one key I am back on track,
but the result of deleting those old keys has been an understandable
drop in the stats.

The way it's meant to work is you may have multiple keys present
and mixmaster will delete them when the time is right.

Poor stats come from pinger(s) getting out of step with what
keys you have.

These look sensible but what about experimenting with KEYGRACEPERIOD 30d ?
