It seems the reason Ubuntu/CAELinux won't let me coinstall is the new
version of Xp I used (slip x64 pro VL) set up a "windows Dynamic Disk"
either that or WIndows is hibernating or fragmented.???

But of course.

Is the whole disk is "dynamic", then Linux can't touch it. Same as
Windows can not touch a disk if Linux set up LVM in it.

It wasn't DYamic disk
It was UEFI's fault
turned off UEFI and got everythingback the way it was
