I _commend_ Steve for writing & updating that iOS:Android comparison doc.

I have assessed Steve's document many times, where nospam is only "almost"
completely wrong in all his senseless claims - as most of Steve's document
is actually correct in terms of what each platform can and can not do.

We should be commending Steve for expending the appreciable effort it took
to just compile and to continually update that document - which Steve does
do from time to time (he's even incorporated some of my own screenshots).

However, nospam isn't completely wrong either, by nospam claiming
everything is wrong - where by chance, nospam is correct that some of
Steve's information is outdated and incorrect.

But most of it is correct.
I'd say about 95% or so (maybe 90%... I'd have to check again) is correct.

Which isn't bad.

I, for one, commend _anyone_ who speaks facts.
Just as much as I deplore those like nospam who almost never do.

As such, I _commend_ Steve for writing that iOS:Android comparison.

Where is this document located?
Is it available to us to look at?

Ron, the humblest guy in town.

wrong.

Remember, Steve's list (last I checked) contains errors such as "Apple
News" which simply means Steve likes one news client better than another.
*Both Android and iOS have news clients to obtain major news events*

Steve says that Android doesn't have Apple News, which, just the sound of
it alone, tells you that it's pure bullshit which Steve refuses to remove.
*Both platforms have news clients & for Steve to claim otherwise is wrong*

Note: I'm talking about "news" as how most people interpret it (not nntp).

Simply Steve liking one implementation better than another is NOT what the
list "claims" it's about - so _all_ those "like" entries should be removed.

Otherwise the list is simply which client Steve likes better than the other
(which isn't useful since it's solely due to Steve's personal app taste).

As I said before, nospam is partially correct Steve refuses to fix the
errors in his list - but Steve is correct that most of it is factual.

I'm logical.

Steve's list _should_ be only what is _completely missing_ from one
operating system that the other contains (if it's useful and/or basic
functionality anyway).

I'm balanced.

And no, Steve, if you can watch local/national/world news on both
platforms, you can't brazenly claim "Apple News" isn't on Android.

And no, nospam, if you can't do MOCK LOCATION on an iPhone without carrying
around a desktop/laptop computer - then iOS alone can't do it (sorry
nospam).

Steve's list isn't bad - but it's dead wrong in some ways Steve won't fix:
a. nospam is correct Steve's list includes bullshit such as Apple News.
b. Steve is correct that MOCK LOCATION does not exist on the iOS platform

First off: What would you call an app that delivers local/world news then?

Secondly, my point was Steve's doc (last I checked) said Apple News wasn't
on Android... but that doesn't mean NEWS _functionality_ isn't on Android.

I don't care what you prefer to call that NEWS functionality, but Steve
claiming Android can't get local/world news functionality is just wrong.

Last I checked, Steve patently REFUSED to fix that error, which is why he
can't claim that the list is 100% fact checked because that's just wrong.
