That's amazingly good, considering it is hand hewn out of a stainless steel mountain.

That's why it takes 20 days (business days == four weeks).

I'm still a little concerned that the key legends are painted on
and they're not more permanent. For that kind of money, you
expect the legends to stay on there.

Got my Hama flat one, looks twice as hard to pick keys off, but not quite as flat as the Apple one. However the Apple one has no numeric keypad! Not acceptable, I shall have a look around for different Apple keyboards.

Oh come on.... an extended version of that, with the numeric keypad, costs £70 new! For that I'd expect the monitor! Still I can get one for £20 used, and broken ones (fucked inside but all the keys there to use as spares) for £8. I shall do that if this Hama one is eaten often. These are £12 new and not as common so no spares available.

Do you touch type? if yes then make a cover with enough room to type but
covering direct key top access.

I semi touch type. I can type with 90% accuracy without looking, so I usually look. I move my fingers around and use two per hand, plus a thumb for space.

I guess I could make a glass cover over it. But having to slide my hands under it would be a pest, and while typing I lift my hands to about 3 inches above the keys, meaning he could stick his head in there.

Or swimming with clothes on, which some strange people do.
Or sleeping with clothes on, which some strange people do.
Or scuba diving with a giant condom on, which some strange people do.

I can move it while I'm not here. The problem is when I forget. He can destroy a few keys if I'm out of the room for 1 minute.
