Happy Labor Day, C= and Ami comrades!

The next meeting of the Southern California Commodore & Amiga Network is Saturday, Sept. 10, from 2 to 5+ p.m. at

Panera Bread Restaurant
19662 Nordhoff Street
Northridge, California
(818) 407-9400

For discussion, we will talk about the August Vintage Computer
Festival West, the October Amiwest Show 2022, L.A. Maker Faire 2023,
and the Commodore Los Angeles Super Show 2023!

We'll also discuss September-October happenings the U.K. and Europe,
specifically AmigaKit, the Lincoln Amiga Group, the Amiga North
Thames club, the Home Computer Museum (Netherlands), and the
Netherlands Commodore Show (hey, what about the Amiga 37th in
Germany?).

The Amiga 600 returns, as does the Ultimate 64. We'll check out the
latest C64 games and demos.

This is probably the last meeting before I see C= repair person, Ray
Carlsen, in November, so bring your C= gear, and I will deliver it to
him in Washington state.

As always, feel free to bring any other Commodore and Amiga
hardware/software that you wish to show off!

Truly,
Robert Bernardo

Maybe you could share the conclusions from your
discussions with the other members of SCCAN with this group
and discuss the use of the equipment you mention. I at least am
somewhat interested and the Team Amiga Mailing List has very
interested members both in the USA and abroad. I routinely
copy your postings about video and photographs available from
your events and posted online.

My Commodore Experience was shallow at the User end and
with the Amiga I soared but my A2000 gave out long ago and Linux
is so much better and cheaper, than the majority of commercial
projects and can be set up to make an Amiga User comfortable.
Use of the Amiga with its proprietary OS made it much easier
to bypass Windows except on the way to using Linux. And it
made me familiar with many aspects of using an OS more fully.

With all hopes for the maintenance of the 8/16/32
user groups. Living digital history detailing the increase
in capability over time in graphical sophistication

bliss - brought to you by the power and ease of PCLinuxOS
the Perfect Computer Linus Operating System(for me),
and a minor case of hypergraphia.

Conclusions? You'd have to be more specific in your questions, Bobbie.

Oh, thank you very much.

That is kind of you,
