If you live in Germany, you may have heart that sometimes
people run into trouble via chats, because the communication
is not properly protected.

Third parties, knowing the chat locations can simply read
and run a protocol of the session(s).

It is IMHO advisable, to take a closer look at OnionChat,
from Micah Lee, who once helped Edward Snowden to
get in contact with Glenn Greenwald, and use the chat
function from there with the following suggestion, IMHO
worth to explore.

When doing a chat (via a Windows 10 sandbox installation)
try to use OnionShare with a Format Preserving Cipher (FPE)
and base encode it, prior pasting you words into the chat window.

I already filed a while ago a feature request, on GitHub, so that
OnionShare users can re-generate an Onion URL, in case this
is needed.

Regarding FPE, I like to show the a.p.a-s community a possible way to
currently transmit (via a dumb phone and SMS etc.) an .onion URL, so
that third parties do not know that it is an .onion URL. However, I can
not guarantee that the cypher or its libary is secure.

As a little example, an old OnionShare URL from me:

rjyjr5xnflwzogkewhklcsktvfvymkzefntacveohkuy2q2jf4ww3aid.onion

and now run through a feistel cipher, with a 256bit key and 100 rounds,
base64 encoded:

Beginning February 21st, 2022 we live now in a Multipolar World,
with no more Imperialism, Globalism etc.

I saw a while ago footage from Rabbis in NYC demonstrating and
waving the flag of Palestine. Another demonstration in NYC showed
Americans not wanting a war. How cool is that?

Long live Peace President Putin and Peace President Xi. Maybe in
two years Peace President Trump can join. :-)

Looks like a nice solution as well, but OnionShare's chat option is for realtime
comms and with my proposal for near realtime comms, so to speak.
