Has it been another month already? Well, I'm not complaining; it means
another opportunity to get more games. And this month, HumbleChoice is
offering the following:

* Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters

It's a Warhammer 40K game, so you can probably guess what it's all
about. Bulkily armored space marines whacking xenos and
chaos-worshippers alike in a grim-dark future. "Daemonhunters"
describes itself as a "strategy RPG", but it's basically XCom with a
new skin. Difficult and a bit repetitious it might be, still it's hard
to resist the allure of the 40K universe. It's probably not worth its
usual $50USD price tag, but as part of this bundle? I'm game.

* Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition

An Indie game where you take on the role of a local psychopomp (think
Charon), guiding the recently deceased to their eternal afterlife.
Build your ferry and explore the realms of the dead. This edition
includes all major content updates.

* Bendy and the Dark Revival

A survival-horror game best described as Disneyland gone evil. The
monsters are cartoon's gone horrific, the game play is the usual
stealthy creep-and-explore. Excellent atmosphere and setting, but
half-baked mechanics make for an average game.

* Operation Tango

A cooperative spy adventure; live the fantasy of high-tech espionage
either as the agent on the ground or the hacker working from behind
the scene. Think "Mission Impossible", but with cel-shaded graphics.
I'd be more excited about this one if it had any sort of
single-player, but this is a purely multiplayer experience
(fortunately, the second player can download the game free if he
connects to somebody who owns the game)

* Windjammers 2

A frisbee (sorry, 'flying disk') simulator. Toss a pie tin at your
opponent in a too-tiny arena. Not my thing, really, whether
virtualized or in real life (maybe if they added a golden retriever
mode?)

* Builder Simulator

Another work-sim, this time you're a builder (construction worker in
the USA) putting up a house. Start from blue-prints and get right down
into the nitty gritty of where to put the tea-cups once the structure
is finished. I'm not sure this particular game is my cuppa, but on the
other hand, I probably would have said the same about the Truck
Simulator games, and look at me now. I'll give it a look.

* Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery

An adventure/puzzle game featuring a struggling artist. Find things
that inspire you to paint; the artwork than provides clues that move
the plot forward. Some very nice visuals; not sure about the gameplay.

* The Invisible Hand

Adam Smith crossed with "Papers Please", this Indie game has you take
on the role of a stock-broker on a quest for MORE MONEY. An
interesting idea but some messy mechanics keep it from achieving
greatness. If you ever wanted to dabble in the market but don't have
the cash, this is a game for you.

So... not a great selection this month but no outright stinkers
either. Very average all around. Is it worth it? I guess; I've had my
eye on a few of these games and getting them all for $12USD is a
bargain... but I can imagine most might just skip this month.
