post has generated, I'm still unclear on what "TAM" is or

You haven't really said /anything/ about your project other than
give a number of URLs that "explain everything".

It's not worth my time to weed through your websites in order to
determine /what/ your TAM does, and /if/ it suits my needs.

No, we have a very rare example of a spammer who is actually
interacting with the group, instead of the more common spammer who
fires and forgets.

Usenet handles messages much larger than a tweet in size. You could
have included a full description of your 'thing' in your Usenet posting
sufficient for someone reading here to understand what it is for, and
why they might want to consider using it.

Instead, you used the group merely as a twitter clone to try to drive
traffic to your website.

In any case, there are many thousands of people using different distros
who do everything on totally free Linux.

I simply have a laptop that doesn't have an nvidia card, so doesn't need
nvidia proprietary driver. I have ditched nvidia cards for that reason
alone since some years. I might install some amd proprietary driver, but
I don't feel the need, so I don't.

I don't refuse non free software absolutely, I am open to it, but only
when I have no alternative.

To be enticed here, I would have to see here some explanation of the
proposed software, here.

In my case, this computer does have an older Nvidia video card, but I'm
using the kernel open source noveau driver on it, so no nvidia
proprietary driver installed here.

In fact every bit of software installed is either free software or open
source (i.e., there are no closed, purchased, binaries). The only
'closed binaries' would be whatever subset of Linux kernel firmware
files get loaded by the kernel -- and all of those were included with
the kernel.

So does this mean the website exists solely as an advertising
billboard to drive traffic to a telegram channel. The level of spam
indirection increases by one.
