In Omnimix tab "User" I have two user:
nym
omnimix
I think to understand that the user "omimix" is needed by ThunderBird
and MesNews (or Forté Agent) in order to receive and send messages, and
I checked all my nym account and all protocol NNTP SMTP POP3.
But I have a doubt about the user "nym": it have only SMTP checked; If
I choosed to receive all my stuff on a.a.m. have I to check my nym
account here (as i do for user "omnimix")?
If I receive all the stuff on a.a.m. can I ignore this "nym" user?

The "omnimix" account represents a normal user account used for
connections initiated by external clients. As a dummy user account you
can delete and replace it by individual account names related to the
names of your OM users without harming OM's processing capabilities.

OTOH the "nym" account is destined for being used internally by OM
when pressing the "Send Msg" button at the ModNym tab and while sending
messages from within the integrated Mailer section. That's why here
only SMTP makes sense. When sending a message from ModNym with the
respective nym account not checked at the "nym" user account's Nyms list
you'll get a "Nym message transmission was NOT completed" ... "Nym
account not assigned to given user account" error message.
