I noticed that in my omnimix logs, sometimes appears a row
"SMTP State: Sending chunk 1" like these. Who are all these people?

That's you!

Have a look at the Services|HELO list. OM creates random dummy
"From:"/sender addresses for your remailer packets by recombining
mailbox names and mail server addresses from that list.

You may have wondered why the remailer packets listed at the RemData log
list have empty "From:" header lines. But to that line with every
sending attempt a different random sender address is added in order to
find one the targeted SMTP server finally accepts.
