As I recall, I also put some money into the kickstarter of this
remake. Not enough to get access to the preview apparently.

Their timing is very nice for me, considering my fairly recent replay of
System Shock 2. I never played the original System Shock much so mostly
it'll be a first playthrough.

Yes just to be clear, the game being released on May 30th is a remake
of the original. If PW is remembering monkeys and spiders then he is
thinking of System Shock 2.
