Maybe I'm not using the period-correct name for the circuitry that the
36/38 Workstation Emulator uses.

That is Twinax, the original with the big chrome plated connectors.
I understand that technology had evolved tho. I never really played
with it much tho. I was a big iron bigot. ;-)
We used RG/62Ucoax for terminals and smaller coax, 16-24 at a time, in
a big, fat, cables between channels and I/O boxes.

I've seen it identified as "100 Ohm Twinax RF cable" to distinguish it from more current references. Belden and other manufacturers have independent numbering that they use. No idea if it has an 'RG' identifier.
