Configuration → Preferences → Message View → Test Options

Tick the checkbox for "Display headers in message view" and click the
"Edit" button. You can add the User-Agent header there.

Do not attempt to start a new thread by asking your question in the Subject.

You should instead compose a msg body when gives adequate background
information for what you are going to ask, and then state the question
unambiguously in the msg body, which msg body is what is going to be
cited by someone answering and needs to have the question in that msg
body for context for the answer. The question is NOT going to be
answered in the thread's subject. The msg body should be composed of
complete sentences.

Only after a properly 'substantiated' msg body question has been created
should a new subject for the thread by created, which subject should be
of the format of a 'title', not a complete sentence, but very brief like
the title for a book or essay.

I don't know what your msg subject above means.

I use Claws Mail, and it shows the User-Agent.

Have you used Claws Mail, or, are you just asking questions before you
you do use it?

This msg is posted w/ Claws (under RPi); it has the user agent in the
header. That condition is configurable to show or not show user agent,
or even to create/edit your own user agent content.

I was trying to get the Claws into a User-Agent line instead of an
X-Newsreader line.

For some reason, this Tb display view source says X-Newsreader, but if I
configure Tb to display all headers, the line says User-Agent. Very
strange and unexpected.
