I know iKooks hate facts about Apple products (especially about iTunes);
but I can't help myself since I happen to have the education they don't.
<https://i.postimg.cc/fRtZFGSt/sharepod01.jpg> itunes removes functionality

Regarding Apple logins and iTunes... I wonder if the iKooks realize that
Apple forces an "account" there also (which is a different account though)?

Yup.
a. Without iTunes, you don't need any account
b. With iTunes, you do

FACT:

Years ago, I used Windows' iTunes when I populated my iPods but I soon
learned that SharePod freeware worked _perfectly_ without iTunes.
a. With iTunes, you were restricted what you could copy
b. Without iTunes, you weren't

With SharePod freeware, you just slide any media file from any number of
Windows machines to any number of iPods (you don't need an "account").
a. With iTunes, you are restricted to "your" iPods only
b. Without iTunes, you are unrestricted (just like all nonApple devices are)

I realize Jolly Roger has no education so he won't even understand what I
said above, as not only do these iKooks have no education, but they actually
know absolutely nothing about iTunes (since they never tried NOT to use it).

The instant you add iTunes, you're _restricted_ as to what you can do
The instant you remove iTunes... Voila! You're free.
a. You can copy _any_ file
b. To and from _any_ iPod & computer (or phone or USB stick, etc.)
c. Without needing to match iTunes to the account on that iPod

Add iTunes on Windows... and you _instantly_ lose that functionality.

The iKooks don't understand how completely indoctrinated they are by Apple.
