The FAQ file in the tarball refers to http://www.sendmail.org/faq/

But that just redirects to Proofpoint's generic sendmail page.

There is a faq-ish page at http://www.sendmail.org/~ca/email/misc.html
but it looks qutte old and has a lot of dead linnk.

And on that page you find a link to the FAQ which seems to be:

https://www.proofpoint.com/us/sendmail/faq

which unfortunately is fairly old and unmaintained.

I gave up maintaining those pages many years ago, sorry.

However, the AUTH page is most likely still relevant.

Any suggestions/patches to enhance the documentation which
is part of the sendmail distribution are welcome.
