My exact thought when reading his message. It's right there in your
post.

I find the people that tend to boast the most are more often than not
the least capable and least knowledgeable.

Especially a phone (or computer) that already runs actual Unix. : )

You lied. There is no URL. Linux doesn't work in the iOS walled garden.

> linux users like to claim they're smarter than everyone, so it should

Linux works on Android. For Android, the URL is https://andronix.app/
For the iOS walled garden, the URL doesn't exist.

You lied.
Why?

> the real question is what possible reason would anyone want to run a

That's a valid deflection but it doesn't change that you lied.
The iOS walled garden can't run a Linux distro and Android can.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=studio.com.techriz.andronix

What did you gain by lying about Linux running in the iOS walled garden?

You can run an emulated version of Alpine on iOS and iPadOS with the iSH
Shell available on the App Store. I haven’t done much with it so don’t ask
me for any tips!

<https://github.com/ish-app/ish>

Incidentally I’ve found that installing and running Linux ‘native’ on Intel
Macs is very easy - currently using openSUSE Leap Installed on an external
SSD.

Forgot to mention that iSH can also be installed on a Silicon Mac.

No he didn't. The name of the app is right there in his post. You're
