it's refreshing to see this new OmniMix version appear in the midst
of a remailer "disappearing act"; many remailers have come and gone
over the years, but were any as popular and reliable as nomennescio?

yet Omnimix seems to work as well using either the built-in Tor, or
else using Tor Browser (which is usually running in the background);
also, after disabling all but "onion" servers in "Anon SMTP Hosts",
and setting minimum/maximum copies to a higher value (which should
be changed sporadically, e.g. 3/10, 4/7, 5/9, etc.) there are less
"relay access denied" smtp errors, and equally fewer duplicates as
a result of having to resend previously failed attempts; also, the
"Starex" entries (in "StateInt" tab) is helpful to experiment with;
also, in Tor Browser application menu "New identity" [Ctrl+Shift+U]
is easy to refresh; overall, the new Omnimix is working really well

I installed 2.6.9 this evening and luckily did not encounter
this problem.

So far all is well with Mixmaster but not Yamn when using the
Mailer option.

When attempting to send a message using Yamn (Yes I temporarily
changed the Remailer from Mixmaster to Yamn on the StateInt tab)
using the Mailer, the message does not send and the below error
appears. This behavior was also present on 2.6.8.

Error sending the mailer message
Sending error (anon): Yamn encryption failed: Yamn returned no
files

Export (potentially) sent Mailer message?

Sending Yamn messages via OmniMix using the Yamn Windows client
works fine.

The paths appear to be correct. I'll try a few things and see
what happens.

Sorry to hear that.

For me, the native mailer in OM is drop dead simple and flawless for
sending YAMN messages.

Oddly, my scenario is the reverse of yours. I cannot send a Mixmaster
message with OM. I've tried everything and I get the error message, "No
reliable remailers."

In the OM mailer, I don't change the remailer in the StateInt tab. No
need to.

I use the dropdown menu (upper right corner) in the OM mailer and
change it from Mixmaster to YAMN.

That's it.

I don't select Export.

For maximum reliability using OM/YAMN I use 4 chains and 4 copies.
Works like a charm everytime.

Any information at the Rem Data tab?
Have you tried to relax the remailer restrictions at StateInt?

I have resolved this issue.

The solution was adding a few Yamn remailers in the
AnonMailServer tab, selecting one of them and unchecking Random
Selection temporarily. It works fine with Yamn using the Mailer
tab now. It always worked using the Windows Yamn client without
any changes.
