Really? My 14 Pro is over a year old and at 94% capacity. According to you it should be dead. Instead with light use I can go 3 days between charges.

My 6s at over 2 years was well over 80% battery capacity. It should have died too. On my 4th iPhone now I have never replaced a battery.

Battery life will depend in part on how much you use the phone and how far you discharge the battery on each use. The article actually explains that.

Conclusion: Your claim is a lie.
